I was never mean for the army. 我根本就不是块当兵的料。
mean sth to sb对某人重要(或有价值)
be meant to be sth被普遍认为是  This restaurant is meant to be excellent. 都说这家饭店很棒。
mean business 是认真的，说话算数
mean to say(强调要说的话，或问对方是否真是这个意思)意思是说

mean business 当真；
mean to do sth 打算做某事；mean doing sth 意味着干某事。
no means 没有意义
