语法（Grammar）

Pronuciation: Rising intonation to show surprise.You can show surprise by repeating(重复) certain information with rising(升) intonation(声调).

A: The rent is 2,000 a month.

B: Two Thousand? ↑ That's expensive!

 

A: There's no elevator in the building.

B: No elevator? ↑ But you live on the sixth floor!

 

A: I live on a houseboat.

B: A houseboat? ↑ That's cool!
