摘要:
In this study, the mechanism of acridine orange(AO) interaction into a high-charge swelling clay and its interlayer configuration was studied by FTIR,DTG,and XRD analyses and assisted by molecular dynamic simulation. At a lower surface coverage, the uptake of AO was mainly attributed to cation exchange with the intercalated AO forming a tilted dimer configuration. At higher AO uptake levels,a horizontal bilayer AO formation would be anticipated in the interlayer of montmorillonite.
