摘要:
A number of experimental studies have been carried out to investigate the complete-incomplete fusion (CF-ICF) processes, eect of coupling of collective inelastic excitations in the fusion of the weakly bound projectile on an intermediate/heavy targets [1]. This abstract describes the ICF observed on the α-emitting channel of the 7 Li+ 93 Nb reaction within 28-45 MeV energy range. The 7 Li beam was bombarded on the nat Nb foils, having a thickness between ( 2.3-3.2 mg/cm 2), backed by Al catcher foils (1.5 mg/cm 2). The cross sections of the residues, produced in the reaction at various energies, have been measured using the γ-ray spectrometry. More details of the experiment and the interpretation of data are available in our recent article [2]. A sum of the cross sections measured in the neutron emitting channels at the various projectile energies is compared with the theoretical estimations in Fig 1(a). EMPIRE3.2 is based on the Hauser-Feshbach model and exciton model for compound and precompound processes, respectively. In EMPIRE, level density was calculated using the enhanced generalized superuid model (EGSM) and generalized superuid model (GSM) with Ignatyuk energy-dependent level density parameter, which reproduce the experimental cross section fairly well. On the other hand, Alice14 is grounded on the Weisskopf-Ewing formalism for compound reaction and hybrid model for preequilibrium emission processes. The Fermi gas (FG) and Kataria Ramamurthy (KR) level density models were used in the ALICE14 estimation, which underpredicts the measured data at the low energies and overpredicts them in the high energy region. A comparison between the measured excitation function of the α-emitting channel and the EMPIRE estimation with the EGSM level density with the same set of parameters, which excellently reproduce the xn-channel data within experimental uncertainties, is shown in Fig 1(b). It is evident that EMPIRE underestimates the data throughout the energy range, which may be attributed to the ICF as expected in case of weakly bound 7 Li (α+tritium (t)). A variation of incomplete fusion fraction (F ICF) with the projectile energies is shown in Fig 1(c) whose increasing trend is in agreement with the other α-cluster projectile reactions [3,4].
