oracle20c最新版本,Oracle 20c release

Its a basic question but just wanted to understand , the possibility for Oracle 20cavailabilityby end of march 2020.

I haven't seen anything official. The best I can offer is that for both Oracle 18c and Oracle 19c, the new version was available by March of that year for Oracle Cloud customers. If you wanted the on-premise release of that version, you had to wait until the summer of that year.

As @AndrewSayer said, most people will stick with 19c for awhile. Not only will some want to wait for bugs to be fixed, Oracle 19c is the long-term release. Again, I haven't seen anything official for 20c yet but I expect Oracle 20c to have a shorter lifespan for support similar to 12.2.0.1 and 18c.
