[root@DBserver01 ~]# su -oracle

[oracle@DBserver01 ~]$ sqlplus / as sysdba;

SQL> shutdown abort;
ORACLE instance shut down.
SQL> startup
ORACLE instance started.

Fixed Size                  2217752 bytes
Variable Size            2449475816 bytes
Database Buffers          788529152 bytes
Redo Buffers               16719872 bytes
Database mounted.
Database opened.

SQL> exit

[oracle@DBserver01 ~]$ lsnrctl start
