今天到公司，打算在后备ESXI服务器上装个2008R2来做TMG试验，创建好虚拟机之后开始安装，结果才开始就跳出了错误提示：

  Windows 2008-64 fails to install with an error message in the guest operating system:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.
To fix the problem:
1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings and then click next
3. Click repair the computer

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance

Info : Attempting to load a 64-bit application, however this CPU is not compatible with 64-bit mode.

　　大意就是CPU不支持64位模式，无法进行安装。

　　由于该服务器的CPU是志强5620，肯定支持64位，因此怀疑是ESXI的许可有问题，就换了个权限更高的许可证后，重启服务器，结果还是一样。

　　到VMWARE网站查了下，果然有人遇到和我一样的问题，解决方法也很简单：打开BIOS设置中的VT选项即可。

　　至此问题解决。
