· Windows XP SP3

· Windows Server 2003 SP2

· Windows Vista SP1 or later

· Windows Server 2008 (not supported on Server Core Role)

· Windows 7

· Windows Server 2008 R2 (not supported on Server Core Role)

Supported Architectures:

· x86

· x64 (WPF Ribbon is only provided in x86, however, the components will install and function properly on x64 operating systems)

Hardware Requirements:

· Recommended Minimum: Pentium 1 GHz or higher with 1 GB of RAM or more

· Minimum disk space:

   x86 – 850 MB

   x64 – 2 GB

Prerequisites:

· Windows Installer 3.1 or later

· Internet Explorer 5.01 or later

· .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 or later

· .NET Framework 4.0 or later

     安装程序请到这里下载，当然微软也提供了示例代码下载，供开发人员学习参考。如果已经安装了For July 版本，可以先从“控制面板”中将其卸载，再安装For Oct. 版本。若您还不清楚这是什么工具请参考这里（文章中介绍的是July版本）。
