Native netmap support is available for several NICs through slightly modified drivers; for all other NICs, we provide an emulated mode on top of standard drivers.

The FreeBSD and Linux versions share the same codebase, which
is located in ../sys . For Linux we use some additional glue code,
(bsd_glue.h).
