第一步下载pppoe客户端

第二步安装pppoe客户端

拆包解压到  /usr/local/src目录

  [root@host2]# tar -zxvfrp-pppoe-3.11.tar.gz -C /usr/local/src

进入/usr/local/src目录

  [root@host2]# cd/usr/local/src

进入rp_pppoe-3.11目录

  [root@host2 src]# cdrp-pppoe-3.11/  

查看README文件里面有安装步骤

  [root@host2 rp-pppoe-3.11]#vim README


Compile and install pppd if you don'talready have it.  Then:


1) Unpack:


      $ tar xzvfrp-pppoe-xxx.tar.gz


2) Change to source directory:


      $ cd src


3) Configure:


      $ ./configure


4) Compile:


      $ make


4) Install (this step must be done as root)


      # make install


5) Now read doc/HOW-TO-CONNECT

进入rp-pppoe目录下的src目录

  [root@host2 rp-pppoe-3.11]#cd src

编译

  [root@host2 src]# ./configure

执行make

  [root@host2 src]# make

安装pppoe

  [root@host2 src]# makeinstall

设置pppoe

  [root@host2 src]# pppoe-setup

提示设置用户名默认bxxxnxnx@sympatico.ca

注意这里说的用户是你的登录账号

[root@CentOS rp-pppoe-3.11]# pppoe-setup

配置防火墙，这里有三个级别

FIREWALLING


Please choose the firewall rules to use. Note that these rules are

very basic.  You are stronglyencouraged to use a more sophisticated

firewall setup; however, these will providebasic security.  If you

are running any servers on your machine,you must choose 'NONE' and

set up firewalling yourself. Otherwise, the firewall rules will deny

access to all standard servers like Web,e-mail, ftp, etc.  If you

are using SSH, the rules will blockoutgoing SSH connections which

allocate a privileged source port.


The firewall choices are:

0 - NONE: This script will not set anyfirewall rules.  You are responsible

        forensuring the security of your machine.  You are STRONGLY

       recommended to use some kind of firewall rules.

1 - STANDALONE: Appropriate for a basicstand-alone web-surfing workstation

2 - MASQUERADE: Appropriate for a machineacting as an Internet gateway

             for a LAN

Congratulations, it should be all set up!


Type 'pppoe-start' to bring up your PPPoElink and 'pppoe-stop' to bring

it down.  Type 'pppoe-status' to seethe link status.


启动pppoe

  [root@host2 src]# pppoe-start

登录成功会提示

[root@host2 rp-pppoe-3.11]# pppoe-start

pppoe-start: There already seems to be aPPPoE connection up (PID 37234)

到此pppoe登录成功
