安装过程很简单，需要几个必须的安装包

 

yum -y install gcc gcc-c++ kernel-devel xinetd

 

报错提示：

 

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]

解决：/usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-194.el5-i686/include

 

完事之后

运行配置程序  /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl

 

启动 vmware : 

service vmware start |stop

报错：

已经运行 /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl 启动提示：

VMware Server is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured
for the running kernel. To (re-)configure it, invoke the
following command: /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl.

解决：

删除/etc/vmware 目录下的not_configured文件
