每年一届的 PyCon 大会今年在克利夫兰举行,大会其实在5月9号就已经开始,现在差不多接近尾声,因为媒体宣传少,国内圈子里对这种会议的关注度程度也比较低,远比不上 GoogleIO、苹果开发者大会,毕竟这只是非盈利组织 Python 软件基金会举办的,经费还得靠赞助商提供,所以,从营销推广层面来说,知道 PyCon 的人不多,媒体报道少也正常。但是,它依然是球最盛大也是最高级别的关于 Python 语言的会议了,全世界最牛的 Python 开发者都聚集在这里。
这次大会有上百个分享主题,全部是 Python 相关主题,内容非常丰富,有关注Python语言内部原理的,比如介绍 Python 字节码,有最佳实践分享,比如如何开发一个部署友好的应用,如和将代码从Python2迁移到Python3等等。
Kenneth Reitz 大神也做了一个分享,介绍他的 Pipenv 项目,未来将有可能集成到Python套件里面的包管理工具。老面孔 Raymond Hettinger 带来 Python3.7 中的一个新特性 Dataclasses 的介绍。另外,关于类型检查和代码静态分析的主题今年有好几个,这说明一个现象,就是 Python 正在被越来越多的大型项目使用,因为动态语言的灵活性带来的缺点就是多人团队合作以及代码的维护成本正逐渐增加,所以像 Type Hint,Variables Anontation 这样的特性都引入到了 Python3。Facebook 出的 pyre-check 和 Python 之父参与的 mypy 项目都是为了更好的将 Python 静态类型系统引入到 Python 所提供的工具。
这次还发现有位华人妹纸的分享,叫 Jiaqi Liu,分享的主题是 Building a Data Pipeline with Testing in Mind,还记得去年有一个非常火主题就是 Instagram 分享关于 Python3 迁移的经验,正因为有这些大厂带来的经验,开发者对 Python3 的接纳程度已经非常高,如果是新项目,都会毫不犹豫选择 Python3。
