Scan for new devices:   # ioscan

Check found devices:   # ioscan -kfnCdisk

(2)AIX

Scan for new devices:  # cfgmgr

Check found devices:   # lsdev -Ccdisk

(3)Solairs

Scan for new devices:

# devfsadm

# cfgadm -c configure c#

# reboot -- -r

Check found devices:  # format

(4)Linux

Scan for new devices:

# echo “- - -” > /sys/class/scsi_host/host#/scan

# reboot 

Check found devices:  # fdisk -l

(5)ESXi

Scan for new devices:

In vshpere client, choose ESX/ESXi host—Configuration—Storage Adapter

Check found devices:
