Abstract. According to the characteristic of communication principles course, this paper introduces the design of teaching assistant system for communication principle based on MATLAB GUI. This system realizes dynamic simulation about analog modulation, digitization of analog signals, digital modulation, digital baseband signal and channel coding. It takes analog linear modulation and sampling theorem as examples to describe the GUI design process and application. The practice shows that this system has a good interactive interface, easy operation, high visualization and correct result.
