1、准备yum源（略）

2、配置环境：

关闭selinux

# setenforce 0
# vi /etc/selinux/config
修改为SELINUX=permissive

配置防火墙，开启80端口：

# vi /etc/sysconfig/iptables
添加：
-A INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 80 -j ACCEPT
# /etc/init.d/iptables restart

3、安装apache（略）

4、安装awstats：

[root@localhost ~]# tar zxvf awstats-7.1.tar.gz
[root@localhost ~]# ls

[root@localhost ~]# mv awstats-7.1 /usr/local/awstats

This tool will help you to configure AWStats to analyze statistics for
one web server. You can try to use it to let it do all that is possible
in AWStats setup, however following the step by step manual setup
documentation (docs/index.html) is often a better idea. Above all if:
- You are not an administrator user,
- You want to analyze downloaded log files without web server,
- You want to analyze mail or ftp log files instead of web log files,
- You need to analyze load balanced servers log files,
- You want to 'understand' all possible ways to use AWStats...

Sorry, configure.pl does not support automatic add to cron yet.
You can do it manually by adding the following command to your cron:
/usr/local/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -update -config=www.lin.com
Or if you have several config files and prefer having only one command:
/usr/local/awstats/tools/awstats_updateall.pl now

You should have a look inside to check and change manually main parameters.
You can then manually update your statistics for 'www.lin.com' with command:
> perl awstats.pl -update -config=www.lin.com
You can also read your statistics for 'www.lin.com' with URL:
> http://localhost/awstats/awstats.pl?config=www.lin.com

修改配置文件/etc/awstats/awstats.www.lin.com.conf 

将LogFile=改为如下内容：
LogFile="/var/log/httpd/access_log"
注意此处：DirData="/var/lib/awstats"

创建awstats的数据目录：

[root@localhost ~]# mkdir /var/lib/awstats
[root@localhost ~]# chmod 755 /var/lib/awstats


手动更新网站的统计数据：

[root@localhost tools]# perl /usr/local/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl -update -config=www.lin.com
Create/Update database for config "/etc/awstats/awstats.www.lin.com.conf" by AWStats version 7.1 (build 1.983)
From data in log file "/var/log/httpd/access_log"...

报错Permission denied: access to /awstats/awstats.pl denied

解决方法：

[root@localhost local]# chown -R apache.apache awstats
