Hello, having checked a couple of eclipse releases mentioned in gluon-plugin page, namely 2020-06 (4.16), and Mars (4.5) with all three install methods (marketplace-click, marketplace-drag and update-site) I the scenario (Mars) ended up in a no-certificate confirm pop-up (I don't know if it is required or not) and no JavaFX Gluon project in available project types, but with a perfectly running new singleview gluon mobile application, the only one I tested. I suppose the other project options will be as good. Can you please suggest a more detailed guide (docs update) on how to setup the latest and greatest version of the framework? IMHO it would be far more convenient for the development team and the community to stick to single stable eclipse release.

I have fresh installation of 2020-06. I have installed e(fx). While installing Gluon, I get:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.

Software being installed: Gluon Plug-in for Eclipse 2.6.0.v20180424-0818 (com.gluonhq.eclipse.feature.group 2.6.0.v20180424-0818)

Missing requirement: Gluon Plug-in for Eclipse 2.6.0.v20180424-0818 (com.gluonhq.eclipse.plugin 2.6.0.v20180424-0818) requires 'osgi.bundle; com.google.guava [15.0.0,16.0.0)' but it could not be found

Cannot satisfy dependency:

From: Gluon Plug-in for Eclipse 2.6.0.v20180424-0818 (com.gluonhq.eclipse.feature.group 2.6.0.v20180424-0818)

This plugin always worked on many Eclipse builds. If anyone has a problem with this plugin not installing you need the 'e(fx) eclipse' plugin first. If the problem persist, delete all instances of the Eclipse IDE installation int the eclipse folder, including the .p2 folder --the path is in C:\users\username\.p2. I'm using as of now Eclipse 2020-06.

Hello ,

I tried to install the gluon plugin on the latest version of eclipse (2020-03) and the installation never finish

Did anyone have a clue ?

I had guava 1.6.0 listed  as intalled in my Eclipse Marketplace

Hi,

The installation is missing a module, the osgi.bundle: org.eclipse.fx.ide.jdt and cannot be installed.

I managed to install it, by installing e(fx)clipse with it.

Hello,

I installed the Gluon Plugin succesfully.

Eclipse version: 2019-09

Buildship Integration : 3.0

Gluon: 2.6

When I start the Wizard (no matter wich Gluon Project wizard) the following Error occurs:

The selected wizard could not be started.

Plug-in com.gluonhq.eclipse.plugin was unable to load class com.gluonhq.eclipse.plugin.wizard.mobile.multiviewfxml.GluonProjectMultiViewFXMLWizard.

An error occurred while automatically activating bundle com.gluonhq.eclipse.plugin (2450).

I tried also at eclipse 2018-09 and there no error occured so this is maybe a problem with the new eclipse version.

When using Gradle Buildship 2, you can't create any Gluon projects, which makes t really hard to use on Oxygen. See this to find the error (remove spaces):

We've just updated the Gluon plugin which works with Oxygen and Buildship 2. The new update site is: http://download.gluonhq.com/ideplugins/eclipse/e47/releases/2.x
