Hi,
FMOD aids in playing music files from different formats that areoften used in games and applications in order to provide audio functionality to your system. The issue you've encountered may happen due to file corruption, registry errors, suspected malware or virus, and hardware failure.
In most cases, it is best to shut down or close all programs that may have resulted in this error. We also advise checking for updates to ensure that your device is in its optimum performance. To do so,
select the Start button, and then go to Settings >
Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.
Additionally we suggest that you scan your computer using the Microsoft Safety Scanner. This helps in getting rid of viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. Do not worry as it will work with your existing antivirus software. To download
it, see this link: Microsoft Safety Scanner.
Note: If any bad sectors are found when scanning your hard drive and trying to repair that sector, any data available on that might be lost.
Moreover, if you recently downloaded or installed a patch for the game, you may consider downloading the whole game and not just the patch. Using just the patch can produce an error against various DLL files, including fmod.dll. Refer to the game manual
for more instructions.
Do not hesitate to reply if more help is needed.
