baes on my knowledge, open word document in webpage you can refer several resolutions as follows:

1, in asp.net project, work with the office interops

2, use ActiveX Word.Application,

function openDoc() {

var doc = new ActiveXObject("Word.Application");

doc.visible = true;

doc.Documents.Open("path.docx");

}

opeDoc();
