Yes, the Informatica PowerCenter 10.4 is running on a Windows 2019 machine.
See the screenshot below of my ODBC connection setup and successful connection.
The above is 32-bit, I have also tried with 64-bit User and System DSN - get same error as below.
Here is the Edit-Connections Window screenshot.
Here is the connection string shown by red arrow above.
Server=1.23.45.678;Port=3306;Database=informatica;Uid=infa;Pwd=infa123
Error in the Workflow Monitor --> session log is as follows. The error is the same no matter if I use a 64-bit ODBC driver (User DSN or System DSN) or a 32-bit ODBC User DSN. The connection string is correct as it is displayed below:

So, somehow the Workflow is unable to connect to the database even though the PowerCenter Designer was able to connect to the same database and import the table when creating the source.
Also, it appears that there is no need of an odbc.ini file for Informatica? Is that correct?
