Clean install of Ubuntu Desktop (这步我没有执行)1.Install additional packages necessary for Cadence.Maybe some of these packages are already installed on your system, but to be sure try to install all of them (of course, all of these could be installed in one go):Code:代码代码:sudo apt-get install libelf1sudo apt-get install kshsudo apt-get install nscdsudo apt-get install policykitsudo apt-get install ureadaheadsudo apt-get install csh新装的 Ubuntu 有些无法执行 apt-get，需要在重新配置 apt－get 的网络。2.Install libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 package.Unfortunately, this package is absent in recent Ubuntu versions, so download it from Ubuntu Dapper repository: http://packages.ubuntu.com/dapper/libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2and install it:Glibc 2.2 是支持 32 位系统的，暂时没有在 64 位系统尝试安装。估计是无法安装的。Code:代码代码:sudo dpkg -i libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2_2.95.4-24_i386.deb3. Current version of your kernel you could find usingCode:代码代码:uname -rYou'll get something likeCode:代码代码:2.6.31-18-genericYou need to use first three numbers as shown above.If there is no such a section in obServer file, just leave it intact.It is important that you will change cdsdoc (and obServer) that are in your PATH, but you'd better change all of them just in case.8.在运行 calibre 的时候，报一个错误类似与 “libstdc++.so.5”只需要将 libstdc++.so.5 copy 到/usr/lib 目录下即可sudo cp /home/peian/Documents/libstdc++.so.5 /usr/libThat's it. At least for me - everything works fine on my Ubuntu 9.10 386 Desktops.
