For the integration of all SOPAS devices
The SOPAS OPC server enables device data to be shared bidirectionally with an OPC client application. It is a proven means of integrating SICK devices into system visualizations or SCADA systems and can be used in conjunction with all SOPAS devices. To configure the server, the SOPAS OPC server configurator is available, which is downloaded and installed along with the SOPAS OPC server. The easiest way to achieve a functional configuration is to import a SOPAS ET project into the configurator. This extracts and compiles all connection settings as well as the namespace. The SOPAS OPC server follows the OPC DA V2.05a specification and can only be used on Windows operating systems.
