I don't know the name of the driver. Probably the problem is in a different place:
When you click the button with the three dots, then the ODBC Administrator of Windows (odbcad32.exe) is invoked.
And here lies the problem: on a 64-bit Windows system, the odbcad32.exe invoked is the one stored in C:\Windows\system32. However, the system32 directory on a 64-bit Windows system contains the 64-bit executables. But the ODBC drivers installed with the PowerCenter clients are 32-bit ODBC drivers.
So you simply cannot manage the 32-bit ODBC data sources from the PowerCenter Designer.
What you have to do is to start C:\Windows\SysWoW64\odbcad32.exe (either via the Start button or opening the Windows Explorer, navigating to C:\Windows\SysWoW64, and starting odbcad32.exe from here). This is the 32-bit executable, so it can deal with the 32-bit ODBC data sources that are used by the PowerCenter Designer.
In other words: you manage 32-bit ODBC data sources on a 64-bit Windows system only by using C:\Windows\SysWoW64\odbcad32.exe, not from the Designer.
That thing with system32 and SysWoW64 directories took me some time to understand. The directory name "SysWoW64" is derived from "System directory for Windows 32-bit on a Windows 64-bit". Whereas the system32 directory has kept its name so that all "old" applications still work on a 64-bit Windows. Very simple, isn't it?
