GENERAL SPECIFICATION FOR

This specification is approved for use by all Departments

and Agencies of the Department of Defense.

1. SCOPE

1.1 Scope. This specification establishes the general requirements for electrically conductive elastomeric

shielding gaskets. These gaskets are intended for use in electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference

suppression applications.

1.2 Classification.

1.2.1 Part or Identifying Number (PIN). The PIN is to be as shown in the following example:
