摘要:
The observations of gravitational microlensing events in the direction of the LMC have suggested that a significant fraction of the Milky Way's halo consists of MACHOs. At present, however, we do not know where MACHOs are, what the fraction of MACHOs in the halo is, and what MACHOs are. In this paper we discuss the status of the MACHO search. And we discuss why observation of microlensing events is a very important technique to search for planets out of the solar system.
