Abstract：Video For Linux Two is one of features of Linux2.6. It provides a standard for the development of video driver. Zynq-7000 processor combines the features of ARM architecture and FPGA. The design combined software and hardware provide a new development mode for the development of embedded system. The paper develops a way for V4L2 video driver based on the Zynq-7000 embedded system. In addition, the paper achieves the data exchange between the devices and application programs by means of memory mapping. The driver develops two frame buffer technology to improve running time at the same time. The diver can be used in different kinds of embedded devices with a good real time.
