Abstract:
The bend vibration equations of rotating beams were investigated by Hamilton’s principle. The mass and stiffness matrices were gotten from differential equations by using a finite difference discretization method. The nature frequencies for circular, rectangular and blade cross-section beams were obtained by MATLAB vibration toolbox. Then they were compared and analyzed to the relative references. The linearized stationary state spaces of autonomous and non-autonomous system were built from the mass and stiffness matrices. Then the displacement curves and phase tracks of rotating tapered beams were drawn with MATLAB vibration toolbox. Finally the amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency characteristic curves were plotted by the analysis of non-autonomous rotating tapered beams.
