Tableau

Tableau是一款数据可视化工具，致力于帮助人们查看并理解自己的数据；不同于传统BI软件，tableau是一款“轻”BI工具；您可以使用Tableau的拖放界面可视化任何数据探索不同的视图，甚至可以轻松地将多个数据库组合在一起。它不需要任何复杂的脚本。

连接数据界面分为连接到文件和连接到服务器和搜索数据，在此界面你可以导入不同类型的数据文件，下面以导入Excel数据文件为例来介绍。

打开exel后，就进入到了数据源界面，在“连接”下方显示的是已导入的数据名称，若有需要，还可以“添加”新的数据文件，“工作表”则是excel文件的中的每一个sheet表，本数据文件只有一个工作表，将所需要操纵的工作表拖入右方(当不需要时再可将其拖出)

在不需要表中的某个字段时还可以将其隐藏，需要时勾选“显示隐藏字段”便可；

单击“＃”可以看出该字段的数据类型

当我们需要作图时我们就可以通过下方的方式进入到工作表界面：

● 数据下方是显示的数据工作表，当有需要时可以按需选择

● 维度下方是字符串字段，

● 度量下方则是数值字段，可以进行“+、—、×、÷”等一系列运算。

页面是用来做动图的，筛选器则是用于筛选数据，标记下方可以选择图的类型，Tableau比较智能，可自动选择适合的图形，还可以设置相应的颜色，大小文本等内容

1. Connect to the data interface

The data connection interface is divided into connecting to a file and connecting to a server and searching for data. In this interface, you can import different types of data files. The following is an example of importing Excel data files.

2. Data source interface

After opening exel, you enter the data source interface. The name of the imported data is displayed under "Connect". If necessary, you can also "add" a new data file. "Worksheet" is in the excel file. For each sheet, this data file has only one worksheet. Drag the worksheet you need to manipulate to the right (you can drag it out when you don’t need it).

When you don’t need a field in the table, you can hide it. Check "Show hidden fields" when needed. Click "#" to see the data type of the field

When we need to draw, we can enter the worksheet interface through the following method

Below the data is the displayed data worksheet, which can be selected as needed when necessary

Below the dimension is the string field,

Below the metric is a numeric field, which can perform a series of operations such as "+, -, ×, ÷"

The page is used to make animated graphs, and the filter is used to filter the data. Below the mark, you can select the type of graph. Tableau is smarter and can automatically select the appropriate graphics. You can also set the corresponding color, size, text, etc.
