It is a firm foundation of object2relation spatial database that extending and supporting oriented2object technology by oracle. The paper illustrated oracle object types, object type functions and supporting inheritance and polymorphism by oracle. Referring to OpenGIS geometry objectmodel, spatial data types and spatial functionswere extended in Oracle92. The paper did some experiments on several spatial queries by tableswhich defined using those spatial types and func2tions.
