Yahoo Finance: Opening up the purchase of three cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH and LTC

Yahoo Finance has integrated bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Litecoin (LTC) transactions on its platform. Customers can now buy Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin on Yahoo Finance, while XRP and XLM only have market trends.

 

Although there are statistics on other digital currencies (such as Bitcoin Cash BCH, ETC or EOS) on the platform, these currently do not have trading options.

 

This development has led some people who are in the cryptocurrency community consider this is an important step in the adoption of cryptocurrencies. A cryptocurrency enthusiast, Anthony Pompliano, founder of Morgan Creek Digital, posted a tweet.

 

According to Citicoins' bitcoin price index, after breaking the threshold of $7,000 on August 28, BTC prices continued to stay near the $7,000 price.

 

As of press time, the ETH transaction price is about 290 US dollars, down 1.36% in the past 24 hours, the price changes little. Yesterday, on August 28th, the price of ETH showed its first sharp increase. The price fluctuation in the previous week was between 270-280 US dollars.

 

According to Citicoins, LTC to usd currently trades at about $62, down 1.74% on the day. The total market value of the replacement currency is close to $3.6 billion, while the total transaction volume in the past 24 hours is approximately $222 million.

 

In March of this year, the Japanese branch of Internet giant Yahoo said it would open a cryptocurrency exchange in April 2019 or later. Yahoo Japan will acquire 40% of the Tokyo BitARG exchange in April and immediately dispatch executive management, which is expected to start one year later.
