EAP1S2 Final Speaking Exam (20 points)
Individual Presentation: students will present on a topic related to the textbook. (Pathways to Academic Success, Foundation)
The procedure to follow is below:
1.Each student will choose a topic they are interested. The topics are listed below.
2.Each student is expected to present for 3 to 5minutes with slides of the Power Point file format.
3.Each student needs to submit the oral presentation summary sheet and copies of all slides with the presentation.
4.Thiru and Rob will use a marking rubric for your final grade. The rubric can be found below.
Topics: Students choose a topic from the list below OR the students can create their own related to the topics they have learned. But they must check with the teachers first.

3.The roles of sports and exercise in our lives
4.The development of English
5.Shakespeare’s contribution to the English language

Tips from Thiru and Rob:
1.Remember, this is a SPEAKING test, not a READING test.
2.Choose a topic that is easy for you to understand. A difficult topic does not automatically give you a higher score.
3.Practice!
4.Check if your PPT works before your presentation, to avoid any technical problems.
No longer than 5 minutes. A little bit over time is okay, but be reasonable.
