摘要:
Flash has been widely deployed to many internet applications.Nevertheless,as a closed development platform, there are more and more concerns arisen around its security and performance problems. On the other hand,HTML5 provides an alternative to the creation of internet applications.However,HTML5 lacks the experienced developers and an easy-to-use integrated development environment. Therefore to convert Flash applications to HTML5 becomes a hot topic. In this paper we study the architecture which enables Flash running with HTML5 technologies, named as H5-Flash runtime, and re-implement the Gordon runtime-based Flash rendering engine using HTML5 Canvas. The factors affecting its performance are also tested and analysed.Result shows that H5-Flash runtime is adequate to substitute the basic function of original Flash plug-in,its performance mainly relies on the implementation of rendering engine. The future work will focus on the performance optimisation of the rendering engine.
