Abstract：With the rapid popularization and development of smartphone, mobile IM (Instant Messaging) has been the most popular mobile software. But for the reason such as the complex runtime environment of the mobile client and the benefit of the Service providers, the communication data is face the threat of been intercept and steal, malicious collection etc. Among the many mobile platforms, Android platform has the largest number of users, but the opened system API of Android platform makes the user's privacy more dangerous. This paper will analyze the communication transmission in some popular mobile social Applications to see whether the communication data has been encrypted, and design an encryption module for mobile IM Applications with the Android system API and HOOK technology, this module will do an end-to-end encryption for the images, voice and videos.
