[root@host51 ~]# mysql 
mysql> update mysql.user
    -> set
    -> authentication_string=password("654321")
    -> where
    -> user="root" and host="localhost";

在更改密码之后需要恢复之前的设置

root@host51 ~]# vim /etc/my.cnf

[mysqld]

validate_password_policy=0
validate_password_length=6

[root@host51 ~]# systemctl restart mysqld

[root@host51 ~]# mysql -uroot -p654321

mysql>alter user root@"localhost" identified by "123456";
