To install and use Maple Toolbox for MATLAB®, complete the
following steps.
After installing Maple Toolbox for MATLAB, review the following
information:

Windows Single User Installation
During the installation, you will need your purchase code (sent to
you in an email).
To install Maple Toolbox for MATLAB on your Windows operating
system, read and complete the following tasks.
Pre-installation Instructions
On Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista®, and
Windows® 7, log on as administrator or ensure that you have
administrator privileges.
Ensure that you are connected to the Internet. If your computer
does not have an Internet connection, please contact your
distributor or Maplesoft customer service.
This product requires Maple
13.02 or later.
To identify your Maple release:
Start Maple.
From the Help menu,
select About Maple.
The About Maple 13 dialog
indicates the release number.
To update to the latest Maple release:
From the Tools menu,
select Check for
Updates and follow the instructions. If that
option is dimmed, obtain the update from
the downloads
sectionof the Maplesoft Web site.
This product requires MATLAB
versions7.7 (R2008b), 7.8
(R2009a),or7.9
(R2009b).
Close all programs.
Install Maple Toolbox for
MATLAB
Ensure that you have reviewed the
To begin installing Maple Toolbox for MATLAB, choose one of the
following:
Navigate to the MapleToolboxforMATLAB_Windows.exe file
you downloaded and double-click the file.
Place the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB DVD in the DVD-ROM drive. If
the installation program does not begin automatically, locate and
double-click D:\Windows\SingleUser\MapleToolboxforMATLAB_Windows.exe (where
D is the DVD-ROM drive that contains the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB
DVD).
Follow the on-screen instructions. Maple Toolbox for MATLAB
will be installed in c:\Program Files\Maple
13\toolbox\MapleToolboxForMatlab.
When prompted, enter the purchase code you were emailed and
other required information to activate.
If you activated successfully, you are ready to use Maple
Toolbox for MATLAB. If you had problems activating or chose not to
activate during the installation, see
64-bit Windows Single User
Installation
During the installation, you will need your purchase code (sent to
you in an email).
To install Maple Toolbox for MATLAB on your Windows operating
system, read and complete the following tasks.

Installation

To install Maple Toolbox for MATLAB on your 32-bit Linux operating
system, read and complete the following tasks.
Pre-installation Instructions
Log on to the account that will own the Maple files. Ensure you
have appropriate read and write privileges.
Ensure that you are connected to the Internet. If your computer
does not have an Internet connection, please contact your
distributor or Maplesoft customer service.
This product requires Maple
13.02 or later.

select About Maple.

Change directory to the location of
the MapleToolboxforMATLAB_Linux.bin file
you downloaded and run the file with the
command ./MapleToolboxforMATLAB_Linux.bin.
Run MapleToolboxforMATLAB_Linux.bin located
on the Maple Toolbox for MATLAB DVD in
the Linux32/SingleUser folder.
To run the installer in console mode, use
the -i
console option.
Follow the on-screen instructions. Maple Toolbox for MATLAB
will be installed
in $HOME/maple/toolbox/MapleToolboxForMatlab.
When prompted, enter the purchase code you were emailed and
other required information to activate.
If you activated successfully, you are ready to use Maple
