discuss the applicability to mobile and ubiquitous systems of techniques drawn from the areas of:
i) peer-to-peer systems (Chapter 10);
ii) coordination and agreement protocols (Chapter 15);
iii) replication (Chapter 18)

(i). Peer-to- Peer systems means the network of computers are interconnected with each other and allows sharing of data without any permission of the central authority. Or can be known as direct sharing of data between the PC’s. It is easy. It is lesser in cost. (ii). In coordination and agreement protocol we will identify how sidtributed processes agree on a particular tasks. It is important and very handy that the distributed tasks should have some agreement by which the work becomes more easy for the distributor system There is always a risk of the proper compilation of the distributed system like whether the task has been aborted or no? So this checks for the mutual exclusion of coordinate access of shared resources . It will gives the guarantee of the fulfillment of the task. It has no master. (iii) The copy of data is known as replication It is of two types. A. Full copy replication B. Partial copy replication It can ne done via various sources like, PC to PC, INTERNET to PC, MOBILE to MOBILE. The synchronization of data from the cloud storage is also a type of replication of data.
