PB5 Emulator for VS2005

The emulator you download from microsoft website is for xp and 2000, see the detailed information:

• 266-MHz Pentium II or later processor; 500-MHz processor recommended 
• Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4 or Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 1
• Microsoft .NET Framework, version 1.1

Although you have xp or 2000 OS  and install the emulator, it still can't run the emulator with debug mode. In other words, it can't attach VS2005 IDE, if you want to attach, you have to build the emulator yourselft, follow the steps:

• First, install PB5.0
• Download and install Device Emulator BSP
• Create an OS design, make sure you choose the Device Emulator BSP
• Follow the steps introduced in Using the CE DeviceEmulator.rtf, which is in the Device Emulator BSP install directory.
