oam Not Send Authorization Responses



OAM 11g Does Not Send Authorization Responses To Downstream Application (Doc ID 1376402.1)

Symptoms

Authorization related activities are not performed when attempting to set header/cookie.

Changes

OAM and OIM integration was done with SSOOnlyMode set to true which disabled all Authorization activities.

Cause

The parameter SSOOnlyMode needs to be set to false for enabling Authorization Module.

Solution

The parameter SSOOnlyMode in oam-config.xml being set to true is the root cause of this issue.

To avoid this issue you can do the following:

1. Backup oam-config.xml.
2. Shutdown all your managed servers and Admin server.
3. Modify the file Domain_home/config/fmwconfig/oam-config.xml.

4. Start all the servers.
5. Verify using OAM tester tool if it is showing the headers set correctly or not.
