Repetition——英语学习小技巧之五

This one is called repetition with intensity.

Repetition means doing something again and again. To learn English, to learn any  skill we need to have a lot of repetition. But a lot of people don't like repetition. When we're learning ,even though we already know the presentense, the words, the grammar, all the lesson,we  need to learn more. Maybe we listened 5 times or 10 times, it's not enough.we need more repetition, with intensity.

 

We never finish. And in fact, we have to focus on the basic things, the most frequent,core, fundamental, important parts of the language. We have to focus on them every day , we never stop.

 

But how?How do we keep going? How do we continue to listen to the same things every day? It's an emotional problem . You just manage your peak states, keep your energy high. We've learned before.

When yourbody , when your physiology is strong , you get bored less easily, you focusmore.you can do more repetitions. Manage our beliefs will also help.

 

Everytime when you listen to the passage, you are doing something a little differently, a different distinction . For example , the first time you listento the lesson, you probably want to focus on just understanding. Then you think you understand this , you know all these vocabulary words, no problem. Then you will change. You to to a new lesson.

 

But is that good for your learning ? I don't think so. You should find a new distinction, an important difference ,a new way to focus. You can focus the speed . You will continue repeating the same lesson.

Listen carefully, pay attention to the sounds, the emotion, the stress, the intonation etc.

 

Then you can imitate, copy everything . That 's the beginning to speak out. You're goingto be better and better.
