There is one open issue for 1.2.3, Issue 1089:Scrolling of the test case tree by mouse wheel extremely slow.
Advantage of RIDE
- easy to edit test case file, robot or html file.
- easy to search all keywords (user and library keywords)
Disadvantage of RIDE
- Can't edit library keywords
- It is slow when opening huge files
- It is not stable when using RIDE in Ubuntu
- No Eclipse RIDE plugin
RobotFramework-EclipseIDE
This plugin is not same as RIDE, it is only useful for editing.robot test case in Eclipse.

Requirements
· Eclipse Indigo (3.7) or later(earlier might work, untested)
· Check eclipse version:
1. Find eclipse install folder
2. Enter readme folder, open readme_eclipse.html
3. readme_eclipse.html will show the version number in second line, e.g.
