一。下载

公司用快车下东西各种不给力啊。

今天下vs2010，1/1的下载方式，快车迅速把2.36G的文件下回来了。

据说多线程下载会导致自动关掉连接，估计是这样的。

但是用浏览器的另存就没事。

网易镜像源：http://mirrors.163.com/ubuntu-releases/precise/

找到ubuntu12.04的i386版本，另存，速度接近1.3M，这与没被封杀之前快车的下载速度一致。

太给力了。

还有，刚刚保存的jpg格式的图片，为啥csdn认为格式不正确呢。

二。安装

一开始是使用ISO启动安装，就类似xp的安装似的，这种模式是easy install，安装之后，会弹出这个界面：

虽然startx可以启动桌面，但是vmware tools 还在安装，而且会卡主。

后来我手动安装vmware tools 也是各种卡主啊。

比如，先安装gdm，

后面还有个管理器，问你选gdm还是lightgdm，默认是lightgdm。

===========关于gdm=====

GDM (The GNOME Display Manager)是GNOME显示环境的管理器，并被用来替代原来的X Display Manager。与其竞争者(X3DM,KDM,WDM)不同，GDM是完全重写的，并不包含任何XDM的代码。GDM可以运行并管理本地和远程登录的X服务器(通过XDMCP)。gdm仅仅是一个脚本，实际上是通过他来运行GDM二进制可执行文件。gdm-stop是用来迅速终止当前正在运行的gdm守护进程的一个脚本。gdm-restart脚本将迅速重启当前守护进程。然而gdm-safe-restart会当所有人都注销后再重启。gdmsetup是一种可以很简单的修改多数常用选项的图形化界面工具。GNOM的帮助里有更完整的文档，在“应用程序”/“系统工具”这一章节。

安装了gdm之后，就没有之前的text界面了，可以直接登陆ubuntu12.04的图形界面了。

然后手动安装vmware tools ：

之前在ubuntu10.04上太容易了，现在安装vmware tools 糊涂的很。。。

要求输入key。。。

输入key 为1的话：

事实上，在这里，直接回车就行了。三次要求输入key，三次按enter就行。

这样安装vmware tools 还是会卡住：

安装好vmware tools 之后，重启的时候卡主：

解决easy install出现问题的方式就是不用easy install。

不指定光驱或者iso镜像，启动现在设置的这个系统：

现在指定iso镜像：

然后启动系统，就可以自动安装了。

安装的时候，必须保证两个条件，其中第二个是要求有网络连接。如果没有的话，似乎会导致如下的”内部错误“而无法安装：

然后手动安装vmware tools，一切顺利！

如果要让ubuntu的界面与虚拟机的窗口大小完全吻合，用这个选项：

3.使用

（1）更改界面

新的u开头的界面，很难用啊。程序要搜索，快捷方式不知道怎么建立。

在安装了gdm之后，登陆的时候，可以选登陆界面，就选GNOME Classic ：

首先我们需要安装gnome shell，sudo apt-get install gnome-session-fallback

记得在登录框右上选择gnome（classic)

需要注意的是，12.04的gnome classic和10.04使用上还是有多不同的地方
补充：修改vi /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
user-session=ubuntu ---> user-session=gnome-classic
默认登录到gnome classic界面,如果不需要特效则是gnome-fallback,对应登录窗口的选项gnome classic(no effects)

貌似我没有修改conf，也是默认登录到gnome classfic的。

这样就又回到了ubuntu10.04时代的经典gnome桌面了。好用多了。

修改/etc/hostname,可以修改机器名。

修改后，要重启才能看到。
