gdb升级

1.查看当前gdb安装情况

[root@localhost core]# rpm -qa | grep gdb
gdbm-1.8.0-36.el6.x86_64
gdbm-devel-1.8.0-36.el6.x86_64
eggdbus-0.6-3.el6.x86_64
gdb-7.2-60.el6_4.1.x86_64

2.删除当前gdb版本

[root@localhost core]# rpm -e --nodeps gdb-7.2-60.el6_4.1.x86_64

3.下载最新gdb文件

[root@localhost core]# wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gdb/gdb-7.12.tar.gz

4.解压并cd到gdb目录

[root@localhost core]# tar -zxvf gdb-7.12.tar.gz

[root@localhost core]# cd gdb-7.12/

[root@localhost gdb-7.12]# ls
bfd           config-ml.in  COPYING       depcomp       install-sh    ltgcc.m4        ltversion.m4  md5.sum         opcodes                 src-release.sh
ChangeLog     config.rpath  COPYING3      djunpack.bat  intl          ltmain.sh       MAINTAINERS   missing         readline                symlink-tree
compile       config.sub    COPYING3.LIB  etc           libdecnumber  lt~obsolete.m4  Makefile.def  mkdep           README                  texinfo
config        configure     COPYING.LIB   gdb           libiberty     ltoptions.m4    Makefile.in   mkinstalldirs   README-maintainer-mode  ylwrap
config.guess  configure.ac  cpu           include       libtool.m4    ltsugar.m4      Makefile.tpl  move-if-change  sim                     zlib

5.执行./configure脚本

[root@localhost gdb-7.12]# ./configure 

6.编译

[root@localhost gdb-7.12]# make

7.make install

[root@localhost gdb-7.12]# make install

报错如下：

make[1]: *** [install-gdb] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/share/bug/core/gdb-7.12'
make: *** [install] Error 2

解决方法：

yum install texinfo

重新make instal

8.拷贝编译好的gdb到指定路径

[root@localhost gdb-7.12]# cp gdb/gdb /usr/bin/gdb

9.查看gdb版本

[root@localhost gdb-7.12]# gdb -v
GNU gdb (GDB) 7.12
Copyright (C) 2016 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
License GPLv3+: GNU GPL version 3 or later <http://gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html>
This is free software: you are free to change and redistribute it.
There is NO WARRANTY, to the extent permitted by law.  Type "show copying"
and "show warranty" for details.
This GDB was configured as "x86_64-pc-linux-gnu".
