SharePoint Search之(三)新建内容源(Content Source)

就像百度google一样，SharePoint Search需要先爬网，才能提供搜索结果。那么如何指定SharePoint Search爬哪些内容呢？就要在Content Source里设定了。

 

以Farm Administrator的身份登陆Central Administration，找到Search Service Application，点击ribbon上面的Manage，打开Search Service Application的管理页面：

在管理页面，找到左边的Content Source:

进入之后，可以看见已经有一个默认的Content Source，叫Local SharePoint Sites。打开Local SharePoint Sites可以看到，SharePoint默认将整个Farm里的Web Application都写在里面了。

默认情况下，Search Service Application创建出来之后，并不会启动爬网，需要手动启动一下。

爬网结束之后，就可以搜索结果了。

 

SharePoint除了能爬SharePoint Site，还能爬外部的网站，包括以下几种类型：

 因此可以用SharePoint的搜索引擎，索引公司需要的各种数据。比如很多公司有一个公共的共享文件夹来存放大的文件，再比如很多公司也有自己对外的网站，这些都可以用SharePoint搜索引擎索引进来。
