The potential candidate would be a member of the Software Quality Engineering team validating a next generation cloud computing platform. The flagship product is envisioned to be utilized by the largest companies in the world to enable hybrid clouds.

Role and responsibilities: • Cooperate with global teams, design and execute system level tests from customer perspective • Develop automation software for an industry leading enterprise level product • Translate written requirements/functional specifications into viable test plans by working with cross-functional teams such as development, architecture and documentation teams • Automate system level tests • Evaluate processes and suggest improvements • Determine the types of process documentation needed for testing standards and test results

Qualifications / Requirements: • BS or MS in Computer Science or Equivalent • 4+ years industry experience

Essential Knowledge/Skills: • Strong Java programming skills • Have customer related testing experiences • Strong experience in script programming, shell, Perl, Python • Proven understanding of design principles and best practices for automation development • Familiarity with use of source control mgmt systems (e.g. CVS, Clearcase/UCM, Subversion desired) • Must be capable of adhering to project schedules and effectively tracking progress to meet challenging deadlines • Ability to effectively communicate and achieve results in a geographically dispersed team • Strong communication skills • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

Desirable Knowledge/Skills: • Knowledge on Agile processes • Knowledge of Storage Area Networks • Experience with working on Storage Arrays
