Maven Issues

The document is to record issues I met in using Maven.

Issue #1

COMPILATION ERROR : No compiler is provided in this environment.

[ERROR] No compiler is provided in this environment. Perhaps you are running on a JRE rather than a JDK?

Causes:
Eclipse cannot find JDK, because I installed JRE and JDK separately and wrongly configure JRE to JDK.
Solution:
Change the path to JDK

Issue #2

After fixing issue#1, there’s still one error.

It seems like a dependency problem. But it’s actually OK by checked with mvn dependency:tree. And it was fixed by using mvn clean install -U to clean the project and upgrade its dependency.
