Recently, I survey some info about the web phone. And some new things intersted me very much.
I only know that the adobe flash palyer can support media stream, but never think about that it can be used in voip field because all the things related to the web depend on the http/https.
But now I know other things. Flash can be candidate to voip:)
RibbitPhone,
I'm not sure about it. How can it work? Is a special server necissery in order to implement voip? Can this work with another sip server?
many questions about it:)

This one is more clear to me.
Firstly, it installed a application into your local computer. And this app is a demo running in the back groud. All the things about sip, rtp, encode, decode, codecs are done by this plugin. In this project, the flash on the webpage is only a GUI. I guess the communication method is the sharedobject supported by Flex. But I'm not sure about it.
