verbo essere (To be)

• CHI è una persona
• COS’ è un animale o una cosa
• COM’ è una persona, un animale o una cosa (egli e arrabbiato, io sono contenta (happy), io sono affamato(hungry))
• DOV’ e una persona, un animale o una cosa (io sono a casa, ella e in giardino, noi siamo al cinema)

IL verbo ESSERE assume anche il significato di ESISTERE. In tutti questi casi esso ha una CONIUGAZIONE PROPRIA. IL verbo ESSERE e anche un AUSILIARE, aiuta gli altri verbi a formare i tempi composti.
