Exchange 2016 虚拟化最佳实践(原创）

在2020 年1月 14日, Exchange Server 2010 将达到支持的结束。许多仍然在使用 Exchange 2010的用户，面临 迁移到 Office 365 或 Exchange 2016, 或Exchange 2019的选择。如果部署Exchange 2016, 或Exchange 2019，使用VMware vSphere 虚拟化是不错的选择。在 VMware vSphere 上运行 Microsoft Exchange 不仅是为了提高效率、可用性、恢复能力和敏捷性，而且提高整合率、密度以及资源利用率，从而实现成本节省。

VMWare 推荐以下最佳实践

CPU

•Keep your CPU allocation 1:1. Don’t over-commit. Cores per socket should be 1.
•Enable hyper-threading on both the host and the VM.
•Enable non-uniform memory access.
•Keep the VM sized to fit within a single NUMA node. If the NUMA node has 8 cores, don’t assign more than that to the Exchange server.
•Fewer servers with multiple cores is better than more servers with fewer cores.

Memory
•Do not over-commit memory. Not now, not ever. Don’t be that person.
•Reserve memory
