性质简介：Rhodamine WGA is composed of Rhodamine fluorophores and Wheat Germ Aglutinin (WGA). This combination endows it with the dual characteristics of being able to bind to specific sugar molecules and emit bright fluorescence under excitation light. In cell biology, Rhodamine WGA is often used as a marker for cell membrane glycoproteins. When it binds to cells, it can selectively bind to N-acetylglucosamine or N-acetylglucosamine residues on the cell membrane, forming stable complexes. This complex exhibits bright fluorescence signals under a fluorescence microscope, allowing for observation of the distribution and dynamic changes of cell membrane glycoproteins.
