【产品简介】：ROX is an abbreviation for Rhodamine X (or X-Rhodamine). In the field of fluorescent dyes, ROX is often specifically referred to as a derivative of ROX with a 5/6 carboxylic acid structure. As a commonly used fluorescent dye in the laboratory, ROX exhibits good lipid solubility, but its water solubility is poor. This makes it an ideal fluorescent reporting group for biological probes that require membrane penetration. In biomarker reactions, NHS activated ester (N-hydroxysuccinimide ester, N-hydroxysuccinimide ester, succinimide ester, SE) is a key factor in activating dye molecules. NHS activates carboxyl groups in dye molecules, enabling them to react with amine groups (mainly primary amines) on target biomolecules, thereby generating stable amide bonds. This process achieves the goal of labeling dye molecules onto biological macromolecules.
