Fedora16 Firefox 安装applet 插件

在写applet时，才发现firefox不能运行applet，运行是成灰色。

上网查一下，原来是firefox需要手动添加java插件的，于是根据网上说的命令，执行下面的一句：

cd /usr/lib/mozillo/plugins

sudo ln -s /usr/java/jdk1.7.0_03/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so

这样将jre库文件做一个链接到firefox。

本以为这样就完事了，结果运行后，却出现了“start: applet not initialized"，applet未初始化的错误。

没办法，继续去网上搜吧，但是所有文章都一样，介绍完上面的操作就没有了下文

最后实在没辙，在一个外文社区寻了n久，最算看到了一个同样的问题：

I just upgraded to ubuntu 8.04 with firefox 3.0b5, and while most java applets seem to work, when I try to load this one:

I am left with a grey box and the message "applet not initialized" in the bar at the bottom of firefox. With ubuntu 7.1 and firefox 2 there was never any problem.

Fought this one long time, and I couldn't get the applets work. Weirdly enough I solved this problem, by uninstalling all icedtea java plugins, and then restarting Firefox and going to the page that was not working. And to my great suprise applet works.

说的是需要把icedtea一类的插件禁用了才行，的确我也安装了一个icedtea插件，果断禁用，在运行，applet成功运行。
